Danielle’s passion for cooking and baking started at a young age. She was intrigued by the culinary industry after watching several cooking shows. She learned how to cook from watching her mom and grandma while growing up. At the age of 16, Danielle started cooking holiday meals on her own and baking her favorite holiday cake red velvet.

       

     After graduating from college in 2010, Danielle wanted to pursue Culinary Arts School but she was accepted into the MPA program at John Jay College.

     When Danielle’s mother passed away in 2014, she was devastated; she felt lost and empty inside. She started baking and cooking more to keep her mind off of the loss of her mom. She had to, at least for her little sisters' sake, since she would now become her guardian. Baking and cooking became Danielle’s outlet to relieve the pain, but she enjoyed it. Little did Danielle know, that she was on to something, she would look up different recipes and add her own flare to it to make it her own.

 

     Fast forward to November 2015, one day she made an order of red velvet cupcakes for a job party, everyone loved them and she started to get requests for cupcake orders and the rest is history. On May 27, 2016 Danielle’s love for baking and cooking turned into Danny D’s Delicacies, LLC; catering company specializing in D’licious Treats and Delectables for any occasion in New York.
